Susannah Mushatt Jones Oldest Women in the World at 116
Here’s a women that has the right idea. ‘Bacon’! Susannah Mushatt Jones is the oldest women in the world and she credits her long life to ‘bacon’. She claims that is the key to her long life.
Susannah is 116 years old and has a steady diet of bacon, eggs and grits for breakfast. In her kitchen she has sign that reads: 'Bacon makes everything better’. Jones named the world’s oldest women by Guinness World Records in July, says bacon, along with ‘lots of sleep’, is why she has lived so long.
Her family says her long life is due to her love of family and her generosity to others. Jones was born on July 6, 1899 and graduated high school in 1922. Jones was married for only a few years and never had any children, which to me, sounds like a very good reason why she has lived so long.
