This year is the 50th anniversary on the T.V. special, “A Charlie Brown Christmas’. The U.S. Post Office is issuing a set of ten ‘Charlie Brown’ forever stamps to mark the occasion.
I went to the post office in Clinton yesterday to get the stamps for sending my Christmas cards. I loved the different options they have every year for the Christmas stamps. This year they had poinsettias and gingerbread houses. But what caught my eye was on the counter next to the boxes.
The 21st annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is happening this Saturday with the United States Postal Service. It's easy to help, just leave a bag of nonperishable food items by your mailbox this Saturday and your letter carrier will pick it up.
