Thief Takes $250,000 From Airplane Cargo Hold

On a flight to the Caribbean a clever thief stole $250,000 from the cargo area of the plane. The man had complained he was sick and spent most of the flight in the bathroom. It was a 40 minute flight on Air Antilles where a Brink’s security guard placed $1.6 million. The man spent most of the flight in the bathroom and tore out panels to access the cargo hold where the money was stashed. When the flight landed and the security guard recovered the sacks of cash he noticed $238,000 missing.

The thief tried to get away by having a flight attendant call an ambulance for him but he never used it saying he was fine and walked away without being searched.
