This Abandoned Insane Asylum In Maine Is Pure Nightmare Fuel [VIDEO]
Back in 1840 an institution opened it's doors to the mentally ill and disturbed. Tales of neglect and abuse went ignored for years. The asylum closed it's doors for good in 2004.
The now vacant building still stands today in Augusta and it is said to house the spirits of those who were forgotten by family, and those who died within it's walls.
As you will see there are posted no trespassing signs around the property, so don't go snoopin' around!
