A Brunswick, Maine, man and his infant daughter are dead following a Wednesday evening crash in Lewiston.

According to an article on the WMTW website, members of the Lewiston Police Department were called to the scene of a crash near 393 Grove Street at just before 11 p.m. on Wednesday.

When they arrived on the scene, they found that a Toyota sedan had left the road and hit a tree.

The article indicates that first responders found 20-year-old Tyrell Willigar deceased.

They also found that 7-month-old Kinsley Willigar and her mother, 20-year-old Adaysia Read were in serious condition.  Both were transported to Central Maine Medical Center.  They were then taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Sadly, Kinsley Willigar did not survive her injuries.

The Lewiston Police Department announced that its Accident Reconstruction Team and Criminal Investigation Division are currently investigating the crash.
