Utah Woman Catches 46th Bouquet, Goes for World Record
It is said, ‘if you catch the bouquet at a wedding, you’ll be the next to get married’. That hasn’t worked for Jamie Jackson of Salk Lake City, Utah. She has caught 46 bouquets and is still single.
She estimates she has attended 80 to 100 weddings, catching her first bouquet in 1996. She is now going for the Guinness world record, which she has broken, but it’s not official yet. The current record is 11 bouquets so Jamie is looking for video from all of the ‘catches’ to send to Guinness as proof. She wants to get four more bougets to round it out at 50.
She also thinks she is a good luck charm for the newly married couples. Of the 46 bouquets she has caught, 44 of them are still married.
