Using data from Medicare.com, they found the most common names of both male and female doctors in the U.S. in 2015.
For female doctors some of the most common names are:
Julie, Christine, Kathleen, Rebecca, Deborah, Barbara, Nancy, Linda, Michelle, Sarah, Maria, Amy, Susan, Elizabeth, Mary
For male doctors some of the most common names are:
George, Brian, Peter, Christopher, Stephen, Jeffery, Charles, Daniel, Steven, Paul, Joseph, Mark, Thomas, Richard, William, James, Robert, Michael, David, John.
