Zero Gravity Coktail Glass for Astronauts
When you work hard all day, you come to relax and you may have a cocktail. Astronauts work hard all day and why shouldn’t they relax with a cocktail too?
Up until now, zero gravity has prevented that from happening. Cosmic Lifestyle Corporation is developing a ‘zero gravity cocktail glass’. In zero gravity, like on the International Space Station, liquid sticks together and to any surface it comes in contact with, but with the ‘zero gravity cocktail glass’, special grooves in the glass makes it easier for liquid to flow in one direction.
The company is looking for $30,000 for testing and manufacturing but they do have a prototype. The prototype was made with a 3D printer, taking 15 hours per glass. The company needs to do further tests in zero gravity flights and facilities.
