It all started in November of 2000 and 14 years later we are getting ready for central Maine's largest food drive. It's the 'Tanksgiving' food drive with B98.5 and the Maine Army National Guard.

We'll start this year's food drive on November 3rd.

Look for Randy McCoy at Camp Keyes in Augusta as he'll be broadcasting all week from the tent.

The Maine Army National Guard and B98.5 will be covering supermarkets across central Maine collecting non-perishable food items all week long.

Each day between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Maine Army National Guard and B98.5 will be at these supermarket locations.

Monday, November 3rd at Walmart in Augusta and Shaw's in Waterville
Tuesday, November 4th at Goggin's IGA in Randolph and George's Banana Stand in Skowhegan
Wednesday, November 5th at Shaw's in Augusta and Waterville
Thursday, November 6th at Walmart in Augusta and Farmington

It all wraps up on Friday, November 7th from Camp Keyes.

Each year Mainers come through with generous donations of food (tons each year) and cash donations which are sent to several food banks in the state and the Salvation Army in Augusta and Waterville.

It's truly neighbors helping neighbors.
