A few days ago a I handed Anderson the 'Mrs. Fields Best Cookie Book Ever' cookbook and told him to pick out something to make. I was hoping for chocolate chip cookies.
He wanted something a little more fancy. Mrs. Fields, why do you tempt us so?
Last night after dinner, Anderson and I decided to work on his first grade spelling words. The teacher gives them out at the very beginning of the year and throughout the year the kids practice spelling them. We have been practicing a lot lately.
Being the INCREDIBLE reader he is, I thought he would do well.
But how well DID he do?

Ok, maybe I'm a little overdramatic but it has crossed my mind on who killed the two-timer!
There are so many opportunities out there to show your music to as many people as possible. The New England based television 'Community Auditions Star of the Day' has been around since the 1950's and I got the chance to add my name to the list of the thousands that have been on the show.
So how did I do?
To many people, hunting is either black or white. It's either "Don't hurt the pretty little animals" or "KILL! KILL! KILL!"
I'm more in the grey area. There aren't many of us, but we do exist.
When Chad decided to start rabbit hunting again, I was torn.
I can't believe I did it!! But I am so happy I did.
It's only hair, right? Why not try something new for the new year and, with a little help from the wonderful people at Lux Hair Salon in Hallowell, it's new and FABULOUS!

I met Chad just over a year ago and I was able to meet his 2 wonderful kids about a month into our relationship. It was amazing how well Anderson, Bradley and Jayden all got along. It was like they were friends for a long time!
This past weekend was an incredible one. It also made me think a lot about who my family is. Hopefully, you won't be surprised by my answer.
