**CORRECTION**: Maine Hospitals To Be Fined For Poor Patient Safety Scores

According to Medicare.gov, several Maine hospitals fall below federal standards when it comes to patient safety and infection transmission control.  Among those being fined are some of Maine's largest hospitals.

• Inland Hospital - Waterville  **CORRECTION** I would like to apologize to Inland Hospital...they are NOT among the hospitals that are being fined.  Hospitals with a score 6 or greater are being penalized for poor patient scores.  Inland Hospital has a score of 3.
