Maine Kids Looking For Forever Homes This Christmas

Every child deserves to have a home with parents who love them and help them grow into caring productive adults. So, if you have the extra space in your home and heart...consider adoption!
David was born in May of 2001. He has black hair and brown eyes. He enjoys riding bike, playing sports, especially basketball and baseball. He loves playing video games. David likes to see how things work and like to fix broken things. David would flourish with a parent or parents who love the outdoors, outdoor activities and sports.
Conan was born in November of 2002. He has dark hair and eyes and is a handsome young man. He has an infectious laugh and bright smile. Conan loves the outdoors and loves animals. He loves action figures, Legos and art. He loves to read. He is a loving young man and cares for others. He has a strong need for love and nurturing.
Riley was born in November 2001. He is a handsome young man with brown hair and sparkling blue eyes with a great big smile. Riley can be polite and appreciative. He is also funny and has a good sense of humor.
Riley is very athletic and likes sport. He loves to play basketball, skating, and biking. He loves to go to the lake or brook and skip rocks. He loves to fish. He would like to be with someone who would like doing these activities with him. Riley likes being outdoors and animals, especially dogs. He currently lives on a farm with sheep, duck, chickens and pigs. Riley doesn’t like chores but is willing to help out.
Riley is in junior high. He is a bright and creative child.
Michael is an 9 year old boy looking to find his forever family. . Michael enjoys basketball, playing with his Game boy, various games and sports, super heroes, and he has previously participated in gymnastics. Michael is a people pleaser and tries to gain acceptance from the adults in his life. Michael needs a family that is willing to be patient with him as he learns to trust them. He does not have a clear understanding of what adoption means and because of this would need a family that is willing to commit to him and provide consistency and structure in his daily life.
Kalob is a 7 year old boy looking to find his forever family. Kalob enjoys playing with his game boy, gym class, outdoor play and games, super heroes, cars/racing. He excels in reading and loves to sit down and read a book with his current foster family. Kalob is very intelligent and excels in his academics at school. Kalob can be very affectionate and will bond well with the right person. Kalob needs a family that is willing to be patient with him as he learns to trust them. He does not have a clear understanding of what adoption means and because of this would need a family that is willing to commit to him and provide consistency and structure in his daily life.
Tanner is handsome 9 year old boy who is very eager to please the adults in his life. He has had two long term placements and is very eager to be part of an adoptive family. Tanner is very creative and loves expressing himself artistically whether it is through singing, dancing, drawing or building with Legos. He has great manners and is very playful with younger children. Tanner has come a long way educationally and has had a very successful year at school. Tanner does great with younger children and would be a wonderful addition to a family. He is usually a pretty happy boy.
Hunter loves Legos! He loves to be busy and work with his hands. He is active in the automotive department at his residence, and loves muscle cars and trucks. He enjoys being outside, whether it’s for a 5 minute walk through the woods or a 2 mile hike. He loves to be active, and has recently been involved with rock climbing and surfing. He is polite and considerate of others. He has an infectious giggle and loves to tell a good joke. Consistency and routine are important to him, and he does best when given his own space to process things, especially when frustrated. Hunter is looking for a place to call his own, a place where he belongs, a place to call home.
Daryn, 11 years old, is a very energetic child who enjoys spending time in the outdoors. He has many interests such as swimming, fishing, 4-wheeling, camping, and participating in extracurricular activities such as soccer or basketball. Daryn enjoys his independence. He loves video games and learning about history such as the presidents.
Daryn thrives in a family setting and has been exposed to many family gatherings. He would like to remain connected with his current foster family, as they are like grandparents to them. Daryn would benefit from a loving home that could provide structure and positive attention, and where the family has a lot of patience.
Eight year old Ethan is very athletic and full of energy! Ethan enjoys playing sports, such as soccer, basketball, hockey, and being active. Ethan is a natural runner. Ethan enjoys playing pass, kicking a ball and jumping on a trampoline. Ethan likes playing with legos and building things. Ethan can be very helpful in many ways. Ethan is currently in the 3rd grade and is very bright.
Ethan enjoys playing with other children. Ethan has several biological siblings so has been used to playing with others. Ethan thrives on spending quality time with a parent whether it is doing an outside activity or watching a movie together. Ethan has a kind heart and likes to please others.
Carl is an active, energetic, child who loves to play! Carl is looking for a family to keep up with his energy and wit! He is clever, thrifty and very talkative. Carl enjoys playing with cars and doing things outside, like riding his bike and swimming. Carl is helpful and he likes to assist with household chores around the home. Carl is a good eater and likes to help out in the kitchen. Carl enjoys taking care and playing pets and animals. Whether it's playing outside, playing games on his tablet, or helping out around the house, he likes to keep busy. He does best when he has something to do or someone to play with. Carl is a very enthusiastic 9 year old who is looking for a fun and loving family who can provide a safe and stable environment.
Carl thrives off of structure and stability. He does best with one on one care giving. Carl does well with guidance and direction and the support of a loving family.
Jenna is a charming 12 year old girl with an infectious smile. She has a desire to please and be included. She does best when given clear expectations around what is appropriate behavior. Jenna loves horseback riding, swimming, and animals of all kinds. Jenna is active and if given the chance would spend the majority of her time outside; she loves climbing trees. Jenna likes to be the “class clown”, and can push it too far at times. She wants the attention and affection of her peers, and needs guidance on the appropriate ways to get that attention. She gets nervous around new people and environments, so patience and a willingness to meet her on her terms is important. Jenna is a young girl who needs the unconditional love and support of a family that will work through the tough times and not give up on her. A family to show her how amazing she is, and how successful she can be.
Spencer loves playing with Legos! Spencer loves to be outside and to go exploring. He loves animals, especially dogs. Spencer has recently started a club at this school for his magic card game. He is a go getter and is very passionate about all of his interests. He is very bright and does well in school. Spencer is friendly and polite to others. He loves being around his bio-father and three younger siblings, these connects are very important for him to be able to maintain. Spencer is looking for his perfect forever home who will love and help him grow to become a successful young man.
Julianna was born in October of 2004. She is a blond, blue eyed girl. She likes to be called Julie. She loves praise and rewards. She loves to play outside, nature and the outdoors and likes to go on the side-by-side with her foster parents. Julianna loves to do crafts and to draw. She loves to play games, watching movies and watching TV. She loves animals, especially dogs. She would like to be with someone who likes the things she likes and doing these activities with her. Julianna wants a forever home.
Joseph is a sweet, affectionate nine year old boy who has a lot of love to give a family! He is active and likes to keep busy doing any number of outside activities, such as bike riding and swimming, or just playing with his peers. This past spring Joseph played on his community’s baseball team and joined the cub scouts. These were new experiences for Joseph and he enjoyed doing them.
Joseph is a friendly and social boy. He has a good sense of humor and he is inquisitive about the world around him and likes to learn. In his quiet time, Joseph likes to watch movies and play electronic games.
Demetrious is a handsome young man with a nice sense of humor. He enjoys being outside, playing and watching sports, watching t.v. (his favorite shows are The Flash and Green Arrow), playing video games and board games. Demetrious is adventurous and is open to having new experiences and is hoping that he will be able to play football when he gets settled in his new home. He likes animals and is hoping that his new family has pets. This school year he helped to raise money for a local animal shelter. He also received the "most improved student" award at his school. He is compassionate and is fun to be with. Demetrious is very much looking forward to being a part of a family.
Joshua, is a handsome young man with warm brown eyes and a friendly smile.
Joshua is currently in the 6th grade and enjoys school very much.
Josh enjoys playing outside; he enjoys playing basketball in the yard, swimming and going to the beach to name a few favorites. Joshua is very interested in farm life and particularly enjoys the animals and machinery. He enjoys playing with his classmates. He also very much enjoys the attention of adults. He has a good sense of humor and an upbeat personality.
Meet Kasandra, age 16. She is an adorable young lady, with a great smile.
She enjoys praise and affection. She is a caring, kind young teen who has a lot of empathy for other people. Kasandra likes to please others by volunteering to help out. Kasandra is very affectionate and likes to be close to her caregiver by reading on the couch, getting her hair done, swimming and getting and receiving hugs.
Kasandra’s enjoys being “hands-on”, and her favorite subjects are Art and Gym.
Kasandra engages will with adults that she sees as nurturing and comforting. She would do best in a home with only one other child and with a family able to provide structure and consistency.
Kasandra enjoys being active including taking walks, swimming, horseback riding lessons and going to the mall. Kasandra is creative and enjoys arts & crafts, cooking, singing and getting her nails done! Kasandra also likes down time as well including reading books, watching cartoons, and movies, making puzzles and playing board games. She loves Sponge Bob and Dora. Kasandra enjoys music and loves listening to the band, One Direction. Her favorite color is pink and she recently learned she likes driving a go-kart! Kasandra loves animals too!
Jacob is an energetic 14 year old boy. He is a loving child with a magnetic personality. He has brown hair and eyes and wears glasses. Jacob loves bugs, and collecting things. He likes to go swimming and play outside. He loves adult interactions and is a great conversationalist. He enjoys music, reading and watching movies.
Jacob is an active child and likes to be busy. He would do well with active parents that are able to channel his energy into positive and creative outlets. He does get bored easily but his attention span is increasing, especially if he helps create a list of things he can do. Jacob does need a family to be able to give him lots of time and attention and so he would do well with a family without other children his age or younger. He would do well with older children.
