Support Local Coach Ronnie Blaisdell
The Red Barn, in Augusta, is hosting a fundraiser tomorrow, February 13th for local Coach Ronnie Blaisdell. Ron fell off a roof, recently, while he was shoveling and suffered a brain injury. The Morning Buzz has been thinking of him, as he calls us often to update us on sports going on in the community and beyond.
Join us from 4-6PM on Tuesday, February 13th for a special fundraiser to support Coach Ronnie Blaisdell. Half of all proceeds during the fundraiser will be donated to our coach, friend and family member to help with medical expenses. For those of you that are not aware, Coach Blaisdell suffered a serious head injury after a fall from his roof shoveling snow. He has spent the past week at Maine Medical Center in Portland and he is now continuing to recover in a local rehab center. It will be a long process but he is doing better and in good spirits. Snow date will be February 14th from 4-6pm in the event of bad weather.
Ron is now out of the hospital, after being in for over 40 days.
