Season 12 of American Idol is winding down, and even though the ratings this year have dropped and lots of focus has been on the battling judges, I think this top three could be one of the best in the show's 12 seasons. Let's look back at last night.

American Idol is down to the top four, and I could make a case for any one of them winning this season. I have to confess, that I had to dvr the show last night, my horseshoe league started last night, more about that in my next post. The American Idol Top Nine take on the Fab Four. It's songs of the Beatles on American Idol, this could either be very good or a train wreck! Before the Top Nine perform, Ryan Seacrest announces the AT&T America's save choice between Charlie Askew and Aubrey Cleland, in my opinion, America got it right with Aubrey joining the Idol's summer top.
