December is Bingo Month
December is ‘Bingo’ month. The game made its debut in December of 1921 and has been a popular game ever since. The original name was ‘Beano’ until toy salesman, Edwin S. Lowe, heard an excited winner yell out ‘bingo’ when they won a game at a carnival.

Sharon Receiving Cards For Upcoming Wedding
I have worked in radio for 9 years now and I have been so blessed to have met so many wonderful people. An email I received from a fellow DAR member (yes, I am DAR!)  said the number of Valentines to Togus have fallen over the years. But if we all do an extra card or two we can change that.

I grew up playing games ALL THE TIME! We had so many board games. We had Parcheesi, Life, Monopoly, Scrabble, Battleship, Chutes and Ladders, Candyland...all the greats! My parents were incredible card players. They taught me how to play Solitaire at 5. I was also my father's Pinoccle partner at age 8. But there is one game I JUST learned how to play!
