Yesterday at the KVYMCA, our trainer Alisha was out sick. Her entire family has the flu. So we had to come up with a plan of action!  A deck of cards would work just fine. How, you ask? Well, here's how!

Take the deck and shuffle it good! Make sure your Jokers are in it.

Apply an exercise to each suit. For instance, hearts are pushups, diamonds are squats, clubs are situps and spades are crunches.

The number 2-10 are exactly how many reps you should do. Face cards equal 10 and Aces equal 11. The Joker(s) you do some kind of cardio for a minute or 2, whether it be jumping jacks, jogging in place or a few laps around the outside of your home.

It's a workout that requires no equipment but a deck or cards. It will take approximately 40-45 minutes to complete and, if you do it right, you'll feel the burn like I do today!
