While we are all cooped up and searching for quick,cheap and easy meals on a budget. I wanted to take some time and share my top 5 favorite slow cooker recipes!

Being a Mom, I like simple and wanted to pass some simplicity on to you. These recipes are 3-4 ingredients or less, but I'm fairly certain (because my family ALWAYS asks for seconds) all of these recipes are delicious!

#1 -  Slow-Cooked BBQ pulled Chicken/Pork

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lbs Boneless Chicken breasts/Boneless Pork
  • 1 can of soda... I like Dr. Pepper, but Cola or Root beer work too
  • 1 bottle of favorite BBQ sauce
  • White rice or Hamburger buns
  • Salt & Pepper to taste - optional

Directions

  • Place chicken in the slow cooker
  • Pour in soda of choice
  • Cook on low for 6 hrs or high for 3 hrs
  • Shred Chicken & drain most liquid
  • Add BBQ sauce
  • Cook for additional 30 minutes
  • Serve over white rice or on Hamburger buns

#2 -  Slow- Cooked BBQ & Grape jelly Meatballs & or Kielbasa

Ingredients

  • 1 small Jar of Grape Jelly
  • 1 bottle of BBQ sauce
  • Bag of meatballs/ or a pkg of Kielbasa * In my house, we often go 1/2 & 1/2 *
  • White rice
  • Salt & Pepper to taste - optional

Directions

  • Pour in BBQ sauce
  • Add Grape jelly
  • Pour in bag of Meatballs/Kielbasa
  • Cook on Low for 6 hrs or High for 3 hrs
  • Mixing occasionally
  • Serve over White rice

#3 - Slow-Cooked Hawaiian Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Hawaiian Marinade *I like Lawry's but any will do*
  • Bag of meatballs
  • 1 can of pineapple chunks
  • White rice
  • Salt & Pepper to taste - optional

Directions

  • Add Meatballs
  • Pour in a choice of Hawaiian marinade
  • Add a whole can of pineapple chunks.. juice and all!
  • Cook on Low for 5 hrs or High for 3 hrs
  • Serve over White rice

#4 -Slow cooker Chicken and Gravy

Ingredients

  • 2-3 Chicken breasts
  • 2 packets of Gravy
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken or Mushroom
  • Potatoes
  • Salt & Pepper to taste - optional

Directions

  • Place Chicken Breast in the slow cooker
  • Add can of Cream of Chicken or Mushroom
  • Add 1 pack of dry gravy seasoning
  • *optional add 1/2 cup of water
  • ^ I personally wait and see how much moisture the chicken releases
  • Cook on Low for 6 hrs or High for 4 hrs
  • Shred Chicken
  • Add Second gravy packet if needed
  • Serve over Mashed Potatoes

#5 -  Slow cooker Italian Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2-3 Boneless Chicken breasts
  • 1 bottle of Italian salad dressing
  • Box of favorite pasta
  • Salt & Pepper to taste - optional

Directions

  • Place chicken in the slow cooker
  • Add Italian dressing
  • Cook on High for 3.5 hrs or low for 7 hrs
  • Shred or keep whole
  • Serve over favorite cooked Pasta
