Charlie Lopresti, the chief meteorologist for WGME 13, has made his winter forecast for Maine.

Charlie gets very technical in his explanation for his winter forecast for Maine.

His article in the Bangor Daily News tracks data from prior winters in Maine that are expected to have a similar weak La Nina  pattern setting up for this winter.

Through his interesting analysis it looks like Charlie's winter forecast is calling for average temperatures and above average precipitation, especially in November and December.
