Monday Night Shooting in Lewiston Sends One to The Hospital

According to WGME 13, there was a shooting in Lewiston on Monday night, May 2nd, that resulted in an injury.

The news station that the shooting occurred on Lewiston's Horton Street at about 8:00 in the evening.

WGME says police have indicated the victim is currently in stable condition and that there is currently no existing threat to the public.

As of Wednesday morning, officials had not yet released the identity of the victim who was shot or the person or persons who may have been involved in the shooting. It also wasn't clear as of Tuesday morning whether or not any arrests had been made in regards to the incident.
