Maine ranked 45th in the country in average weekly time people spent exercising. That's according to the analysis of users of a fitness app called MapMyFitness.

This is certainly not a scientific study, it all depends of those who have this app participating in the study.

The study includes users of various apps under the MapMyFitness brand, including running, biking, hiking and walking.

Their study found that the national average for weekly workouts logged was 73.2 minutes. Maine came in at 52.6 minutes per week.

However, the latest Gallup report shows that Maine is the 14th least obese state.
