Acadia National Park’s Precipice Named One Of The Ten Most Beautiful Hikes In The US

Fodor's Travel, an online travel resource, has named Maine's Acadia National Park's Precipice Trail as one of the '10 Most Beautiful Hikes in the US'.

The Precipice Trail is a very steep climb around 1,000 feet up the east face of Champlain Mountain. The climb includes ladders, rungs and narrow bridges, it is certainly a hike for advanced climbers.

At the top of the trail, hikers will see a spectacular view of Mount Desert Island's

coastline and nearby isles.
