I shared on air and online on October 10th what I was going to be doing on my 'vacation'. On October 14th at 8:15 a.m. I had an appointment to start my major dental work. The support from the listeners has been awesome, thank you so much!

The extractions went well. I was expecting some pain, but I really didn't experience any pain at all. In fact, I haven't taken any pain medication since the operation.

I was feeling so good, that the next evening, I went to play in the horseshoe league playoffs and shot great! Our team won and ended the season in third.

The biggest side effect has been feeling sick to my stomach (not sure if it was related to the dental work or not).

On Friday, I had my first appointment at Capitol Dental Care on State Street in Augusta. Dr. Cutri and the entire staff have been so good to me. I was getting my temporary top plate and my job over the weekend was to try and get use to it.

I was only able to keep it in for a few minutes here and there. I went back for a follow-up appointment on Monday and I had a breakthrough last night. I was able to keep the plate in for about an hour and a half!

So today, I am back to work, and am looking forward to hearing for you guys during the all request beestro.
