Augusta Police Investigating Burglary At Dairy Queen

According to the KJ, police are investigating what appears to be a burglary at the Civic Center Drive, Augusta DQ.

Augusta Police Department Sergeant. Chris Blodgett said that an employee there to open the ice cream place on Friday morning found the front door smashed in. The employee also found that someone had gotten into the cash register.

At this point, there is no word on how much money was stolen and it does not appear that anything else was taken.

Police continue to investigate. We are hearing they are continuing to wait for video footage from the business's security system.
