Augusta’s Colonial Theater Hiring!
According to the KJ, Augusta's Colonial Theater is ready to hire its first paid employee - an executive director!
The executive director will work with the board, develop a strategic plan for the capital fundraising campaign, work with media outlets and social media to develop an audience, among other duties.
In the last year, a new roof and subfloor have been added to the theater, which dates back to 1913. Future additions will include the installation of 800 to 1,000 seats, box seating in the balcony, and needed changes for accessibility requirements.
To be considered for the position applicants must have a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years in non-profit development, arts admin, or related field. According to the listing on Indeed, the executive director's salary will be between $65,000 and $75,000
