‘Back to the Future’ Says It’s The Year of the Cubs
The Chicago Cubs seem to be going all out this year with their eye on the big prize, the World Series. They signed pitcher Jon Lester for $155 million and have a lot of excellent young players. And 2015 may be their year.
In the movie, ‘Back to the Future 2’, the Cubs finally won the World Series. The Cubs did trade for catcher Miguel Montero who has the same initials of Marty McFly in the movie. In fact, you can buy a Chicago Cubs ‘2015 Cubs World Series Champions’ T-shirt, done in Back to the Future font.
So, if the Cubs win the series this year, does that mean time travel, like in the movie, is possible? No, but it may mean ‘hell’ has frozen over.
