Loyal Biscuit Company - Multiple Locations
One place that I love to take my pooch is Loyal Biscuit Company, with locations all around Central Maine, this is one place your dog will be happy to visit.

Ice Palace - Bethel Maine
There's nothing like being outside in the middle of the adventure and that is exactly where dogs like to be as well. One spot that is sure to have Fiddo taking in all the sights sounds and smells will be the Ice Palace in lovely Bethel Maine.

Big G's - Winslow Maine
Of course in the winter we like to feed on large portions to keep us fully energized for whatever we decide to do with our four legged friends. Big G's is up for the challenge and they welcome well behaved dogs too. A win-win!

Mt Hope Cemetery - Augusta Maine
This is one of the rare exceptions where you have a cemetery that allows you to take your dog for a walk as long as you pick up after it. This is a great place to go anytime of year right next to the Augusta Airport.

The Home Depot - Multiple Locations
I can't vouch for every Home Depot but most, including in Augusta, Bangor, and Rockland allow well behaved dogs to join you in your shopping. This is a great place to go for dogs that you made be training or socializing and you are also inside which can be nice in the winter if you are looking fo a break from the cold.

Homewood Suites - Multiple Locations
If you are traveling or just passing through Central Maine one of the nice places to rest your head and also have your dog in toe is the Homewood Suites. Not only are in a well decorated, comfy hotel with great service but there is plenty of room for your pooch to stretch out along with you.

Fast Eddie's Express Dog Wash - Augusta Maine
Now most of the time when you think about Fast Eddie's, you are thinking about washing your ride...but did you know that Fast Eddie's also has an express Dog wash there that makes cleaning Fiddo a breeze!

Birch Point State Park - Owls Head Maine
One of the great benefits in Maine is the State Parks allow you to bring your dogs to them during the winter months and into the spring. This is especially nice when you go to some of the parks that are on the ocean. You can go for a great walk along the beach with your dog by your side. One of my favorites is Birch Point State Park in Owls Head, it is a great place to get some exercise off the beaten path in the colder months and enjoy the view which is always stunning.

Kennebec Rail Trail - Central Maine
This great trail is maintained year round and winter is no exception. If you like to get out and get some exercise and would like to have your furry companion with you, the Kennebec Rail Trail will meet your needs and take you along the Kennebec River through several towns in central Maine.

Panera Bread - Multiple Locations
Another great stop to grab a bite to eat, maybe a coffee and a snack which also allows your well behaved dog is Panera Bread. The spacing is comfortable and it just has a nice atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little while especially when you can have your dog with you...no need to rush back to the car.
