Halloween is rapidly approaching, and at this point in 2020, I'm sure most could agree with me that kids need a sense of normalcy right now. I think celebrating Halloween is just the thing they need. You know, just because we are in the middle of a pandemic, it doesn't mean Halloween needs to be canceled, as long as we can find a way to keep everyone safe.

There are plenty of safe ways for kids to dress up in their fun costumes and collect their loots of candy. In fact, most costumes already come equipped with a facemask. So, if we work together and try our absolute best to keep everyone socially distant, we should be able to execute a safe Halloween.

Trunk or Treats have always been a Halloween favorite in my house, and for a good reason, multiple candy stops for the kids, while the parents only drive to one place vs. hours and hours of driving.

According to the China Regional Church of the Nazarene, they are hosting a Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat with fun sights and sounds Saturday, October 31st, from 5:30-7:30 pm. This trunk or treat will occur at the China Regional Church of the Nazarene, located at 898 Route 3 in South China, Maine.

For those wondering, this is a public event, and you do not need to be a member of the China Regional Chruch of The Nazarene to join in on the trick or treating fun; they also said those who want to come with a decorated trunk are also welcome.

It has also been stated that Santa will be making an early trip from the North Pole for a quick visit!
