Try Insanely Tasty Treat At The New Gelateria In Hallowell

Late last year, heritage Hallowell store Boynton's Market was sold and became Ciccarelli's Market.

Slowly, over the last few months, the business morphed away from being a convenience store / small grocery store into a gelateria - a business that sells gelato.

Now, it looks as though they are getting ready for a grand re-opening.

According to a Facebook event made by Ciccarelli's Gelateria, they are hosting their grand reopening on June 30th. Ciccarelli's Gelateria is still under the same ownership. They have just made a few adjustments to their offerings and hours.

The store's new hours will be Wednesday through Saturday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 to 5:00 pm.

In addition, Ciccarelli's Gelateria will now offer over 12 Gelato flavors, 3 amazing non-dairy and gluten-free sorbets, Gelato cookies, pizza by the slice, meatball subs, soft drinks, and so much more.

As Ciccarelli's switches from being a grocery type store to a gelateria, they will no longer be carrying newspapers, lottery tickets, or alcohol or wine. Ciccarelli's has marked down all existing grocery items and has announced that they will no longer be offering deli items. Pizza slices will still be available for purchase.
