City of Augusta is HIRING

I was at the City of Augusta Job Fair recently and there are LOTS of opportunities available with Augusta.  The City of Augusta has openings or anticipated jobs openings in administration, fire department, parks & recreation, childcare, Lithgow Library, Augusta Civic Center, police department and public works.

OLD FORT WESTERN:  Historic interpreters (Yes, if you are the right person, you can get paid to be dress in historic dress and handle historical educational programs at Fort Western and around the state)

ADMINISTRATION: Clerk, poll workers, utility worker, French teacher

FIRE DEPARTMENT: Firefighters, paramedics and EMTs

PARKS & RECREATION:  Maintenance/landscaping job

CHILDCARE:  Childcare aids and supervisors

LITHGOW LIBRARY: Library Page

PUBLIC WORKS: Recycling/Rubbish Truck workers, seasonal laborers

CIVIC CENTER: Maintenance, catering, concessions, box office

POLICE DEPARTMENT: Police officers, dispatchers full and part time
