College Football Underway This Thursday
The college football season starts this Thursday (9/3) with a full slate of games including a couple of teams from the Colonial Athletic Association. The CAA is the division the University of Maine is in.
Maine starts their season on Saturday at an NCAA Division l team, Boston College. From the CAA on Thursday, New Hampshire will visit San Jose, Elon opens at Wake Forest, Stony Brook is at Toledo and Villanova opens the season at Connecticut.
Some other games of note on opening Thursday; Michigan with new coach Jim Harbaugh will open at night in Utah. #2 TCU is at a much improved Minnesota team and #16 Georgia State should have no trouble against Alcorn State.
