Don Crisman is a member of a very exclusive club, the ‘Never Miss a Super Bowl Club’. Don is one of only three members and he will be attending this year’s game too.

Crisman, from Kennebunk, Maine, started his incredible run in 1967 at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in California for Super Bowl 1. The tradition will continue this year as Crisman will attend Super Bowl LI in Houston. Don, of course is a Patriots fan, and his home is like a museum full of memorabilia from the past 50 years. He says one of his favorites is from Super Bowl XLIX, a hat signed by the games hero, Malcolm Butler.

Crisman will be there along with his daughter, Susan Metevier, and two other members of the exclusive club, Tom Henschel of Pittsburgh and Larry Jacobson of San Francisco. Crisman’s wife Beverly has attended 28 Super Bowls with him, but not this years.

The big change over the years has been the price of ticket. In 1967 for the first Super Bowl Don paid $12 to attend. This year tickets are going for $2,500.
