Cony Seniors Host Fishing Derby To Raise Money For Project Grad

Winter is here, and that means it's almost time for some serious ice fishing. Of course, that is once the temperature drops a bit more and the ice freezes over, so it's safe.

If you're planning out your upcoming ice fishing derbies, make sure you put down Cony High School's Project Graduation Ice Fishing Derby. To raise money for Project graduation while keeping everyone safe and socially distanced, Cony Seniors are hosting an Ice Fishing Derby. The derby will take place in Winthrop on Cobbossee Lake on Saturday, March 6th.

There will be tons of fun prizes for adults and kids up for grabs, and they are even giving out FREE traps donated by "Traps for kids" to the first 50 kids (17 & under) that register!

REGISTRATION FEES:

Individual Pre-Registration – Individual - $10.00

Day of Registration Individual - $15.00

Cony High School Senior - Pre-Registration - $5.00

Largest Northern Pike - 1st $750, 2nd $500, 3rd $250

Largest Pickerel - 1st $350, 2nd $200, 3rd $100
Largest Pan Fish Perch (white or yellow) - 1st $500, 2nd $350, 3rd $150
Kids Category/Smallest Fish - 48" Max Trap

If you would like to pre-purchase tickets, that can be done HERE until Monday, March 1st. However, tickets can be purchased on the day of the derby as well.
