I almost never make New Year Resolutions.  Almost...

This year, I decided (partly to make up for not normally doing one) that I would do several.

The other reason?  According to a new survey, the average person ditches their resolution by January 12th.  I figure that, if I have several, maybe I'll still be doing one by July.  Maybe...

Here they are:

1- Drink more water.  The experts say you should drink 8 "glasses" a day.  Probably not going to happen.  And, on top of that, I have no idea how much water goes into a "glass".  Are we talking about a pink glass (16 oz)?  A shot glass (1.5 oz)?  What?  Right?

2- Getting my daily steps.  Probably because it thinks I am an underachiever, my phone set my step count goal at 6,000.  Sometimes I don't even get that many.  I'd love to be able to get 10,000 a day.

3- Go back to college.  I have an associates degree.  I'd love to turn that into a bachelor's degree.  What would I study?  Probably business or marketing.  Or, maybe IT.

4- Write more.  I've always wanted to be a writer.  In my head, I have several great (at least I think they are) ideas for novels.  Recently, I bought a new tablet.  I just need to force myself to sit down and write a little each day.

5- Expand my side hustle.  I'd like to do more with my event / bar DJ business.

How many of these do you think I can keep going past January?
