Dog Food Recall – Multiple Brands
The FDA has put out an alert regarding multiple brands of dog food that have been recalled due to elevated levels of Vitamin D.
For dogs this can cause a multitude of issues such as vomiting, loss of appetite, increased thirst, increased urination, excessive drooling, and weight loss. In addition, when Vitamin D is consumed by dogs in large doses it can cause serious health issues including renal dysfunction.
The FDA recommends that you stop feeding any food from the following list and contact your vet if your dog is experiencing any of the symptoms mentioned.
