Central Maine Escape Room Moving to Much Larger New Location

Over the last few decades, we have seen escape rooms as a form of entertainment really take off.

An escape room is an interactive, real-life puzzle adventure where you and a group are “locked” inside a themed space and must work together to solve clues, crack codes, and uncover hidden secrets.  Each room feels like stepping into a story—maybe a haunted mansion, a spy mission, or a bank heist—where every object could be a clue waiting to be discovered.  The goal is simple but thrilling: use teamwork, logic, and a bit of creative thinking to beat the clock and escape before time runs out.

One of the things that make escape rooms so appealing is how they promote teamwork while, at the same time, getting us away from our screens.

Escape Augusta

Since 2023, Escape Augusta has been welcoming people of all ages to their escape rooms.  They have welcomed groups of friends, couples, corporate groups looking for team building opportunities, and plenty of birthday parties (that's where my daughter celebrated her 15th birthday).

During 2 1/2 short years, they have built up quite a following.

Now, it looks like Escape Augusta will be escaping Augusta!

They have announced that they have purchased a large property in Manchester.  This will allow them to create even more escape rooms!

So, does this mean we'll have to wait till they completely built out their new location?  Nope!  They will continue to operate out of their Parkwood Drive location until the new one is ready to go.
