Law Enforcement Investigating Incident at Maine School

Something unusual is going on at a Penobscot County school.

According to an article on the WMTW website, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating an incident at the Dr. Lewis S. Libby School in Milford. Officials aren’t saying much yet about what happened, but they are taking it seriously.

Out of caution, everyone inside the school has been moved out.  Students and staff were taken about two miles away to the Old Town YMCA while the situation is looked into.

The good news here?  Authorities say everyone is safe.

Right now, details are pretty limited, and it’s unclear what sparked the response in the first place.  We’ll likely learn more as the investigation continues.
