According to News Center Maine, this Friday, February 11th, is one of the many 'Give Kids A Smile' days by the University of Maine at Augusta's Dental Health Clinic in Bangor, located at 201 Texas Avenue.

This amazing opportunity gives Maine children an opportunity to receive 100% FREE dental care, which oftentimes is an expense that many families can't afford to provide. Unfortunately, this event is only for children between the ages of five to 18 and who do not have a regular dentist.

Services offered during the 'Give Kids A Smile' event include regular cleanings, exams, x-rays (if needed), fluoride treatments, and children will even have the opportunity to learn a little dental hygiene education.

Need to schedule an appointment? You can do so by calling 207-262-7872. If you cannot make it to Friday's free dental event, no worries, "Give Kids a Smile Day” will be happening again on Friday, March 4.

The University of New England is also offering free dental services through the end of February. These appointments are for children 12 and under. For more information, you can call 207-221-4900.
