Gas Price in Maine Down Slightly (Feb. 27)

According to GasBuddy the price of gas in Maine has fallen a bit this week. (Feb 27)

Before you get too excited the price only dropped a penny per gallon to an average of $2.54. Other states in New England fell a little more but not much.

In Vermont the price fell 2.5 cents per gallon to $2.60 and in New Hampshire they went down 1.5 cents to $2.48.

According to bangordailynews.com the national average gas price fell 1.1 cent per gallon to $2.50 but overall in the last month the national average rose 7.3 cents and is 22 cents per gallon higher than last year.
