Here’s Why There Are More Squirrels Than Normal This Year

I've seen more squirrels in the last two days than I have seen in the last two months.  They're EVERYWHERE!  So far, I've managed to avoid sending any of them to the afterlife (I hope my luck keeps up).

According to WMUR, there's a good reason.  Fish and Game wildlife biologist Patrick Tate says 2017 was a big reproductive year for squirrels.  Their increased numbers, along with the dry summer, has caused a mass migration and the squirrels look for food.

On top of that, these conditions make them more prone to diseases that may cause them to make poor decisions...  Like darting out into a busy road.

So, for the sake of the squirrels and your car's tires, keep an eye out for our furry friends.
