The Humane Society of the Waterville Area does an amazing job at transitioning our furry friends in need. Wether they are transporting southern dogs up here to find forever homes, or to place litters of kittens that arrive unexpectedly. I'm always in awe of the wonderful job Executive Director Lisa Oakes and her staff do on a daily basis.
So when they posted on the Humane Society Waterville Area website that they need some dog beds so the dogs in-house and the 16 dogs expected this weekend won't have to spend much time on the floors, which are heated...but, nothing beats a nice cozy bed. So, I just felt compelled to pass it on.

According to an article from WABI, Lisa Oakes said:

“We are always in constant need for a lot of things at the shelter but right now we have a lot of chewing dogs so they chew through some of the beds and we like them to all have a comfy bed to sleep on at night, we’re constantly having dogs come up from the south so there’s always dogs around and there’s always new dogs”
