Indoor Pool Shut Down Over Sprinkler System

In Bethel, Alaska, they were ready to celebrate their new community center’s indoor swimming pool. Unfortunately it is still closed and the grand opening has been postponed. It remains closed because of problem with the sprinkler system.

The center will be closed indefinitely until they can figure out the problem. As of now it’s not clear what the trouble is. According to acting city manager, Peter Williams, a troubleshooting team will meet to determine the problem and come up with a plan as to when the pool will be open.
