Is Facebook LIVE Really Necessary? Sarah’s Curious

Social media at its finest.  Now, Facebook gives you the option to go LIVE with your video.  This gives your Facebook followers, friends & family the opportunity to see exactly what is happening at that exact moment in time...hence the term 'LIVE'.  But is it really necessary?  

I don't mind seeing videos people post on their Facebook...but I'm starting to get annoyed with my phone dinging and telling me 'so and so' is LIVE right now.  What could 'so and so' possibly be doing...right now...that requires my attention...right now.  I mean, unless you're the Morning Buzz, giving away concert tickets on Facebook (which we do frequently)...then what's the point?  But I had to give it a try.  So here I am.  LIVE.  But, not LIVE anymore because this was yesterday...sorry you missed it.  It's old news now.
