Japanese Scientists Confirm Venus is One Hot Place
Something we all learned in school about the planet Venus is it’s too close to the sun to sustain life and now scientists taking a closer look at the planet confirm it is in a prolonged molten state. Venus has an atmosphere and some water as it was developing, but being so close to the sun, they didn’t last very long.
According to Japanese scientists the ultra violet rays from the sun sapped the atmosphere and water from the planet. Earth, being further from the sun, was able to develop its atmosphere o protect it from the sun’s rays which allowed the planet to keep it water. Oceans on Earth are water while oceans on Venus are magma making difficult determining the temperature of the planet.
With Venus being so close to the Sun it was never allowed to cool like the Earth did, although scientist believe in the early stages of both planet, both were similar in the development and formation. The hope is for future mission to Venus to find out more about the planet.
