Kristi May Look A Little Different But It's Just Her New Glasses

Nothing feels better than being able to see correctly. And, fun fact about me, apparently I haven't been able to see my whole life correctly. I always just assumed everyone had a hard time driving at dusk or dawn, in the rain, at nighttime, stumbling over flat sidewalks, you know, all the things I struggled visually with.

The year I turned the big 3 0 was the year I realized that I saw the world incorrectly. And that so many of my vision issues were due to my lack of depth perception and having astigmatism in both of my eyes. It was basically a birthday miracle the minute I put on my glasses for the very first time.

It's been almost 3 years since I picked out my first pair of glasses, which by the way, was not an easy decision. For the average person, I'm sure it really isn't that hard to pick out eyeglass frames; however, it legit takes hours for me. I struggle with finding frames that will match every one of my outfits, and contrary to popular belief, black does not go with everything.

Maybe this is the reason it's taken me almost 3 years to bite the bullet and buy a new pair (or two). But I finally did it, and I couldn't be happier. I ended up buying a whole new pair, had new lenses put into my old frames, and even splurged on a new pair of prescription sunglasses too.
