Kristi Received A Positive Update On Her Rodent Infested Car
It's been almost 2 weeks since I climbed into my fancy little car in the wee early morning hours to head for work. Instead, I was greeted by something scuffling around inside the back seat of my car promoting me to call my husband via facetime, you know because something was in my car and I was sure I was about to be murdered.
The good news, I didn't get murdered. Although a rodent did eat its way thru my car seats, carpets, and wiring, kinda like the very hungry caterpillar ate its way thru cupcakes and sweets. Because of the exact damage both the dealer and insurance company were unsure what we would be looking at although it had the potential to be totaled.
Here's the thing, this car is only a few years old and no one, not even me, queen of anxiety, the girl who thinks of everything while making a purchase this size, could have seen this coming. However, apparently, it's a thing that happens in newer cars because manufacturers are using an Eco-friendly product to wrap electrical wiring.
More good news, after what seemed like never-ending bad news, I got a call from Charlie's award-winning service department to let me know I would indeed be getting Fancy back and it shouldn't be much more than a few more weeks!
