My 11-year-old son, Logan, had never been to see a professional stylist for a haircut, well, until yesterday. Being a stay-at-home mom for so long, I found joy in cutting both my children's and my husband's hair. Oh, and it also saved money, and if you know me, you know I'm all about saving money.

Logans has been growing his hair out for months and months and finally agreed to have it "trimmed," but "only a trim," lol. As soon as Logan agreed to get his hair "trimmed," my husband scheduled an appointment with his personal barber Marino down at Water Street Barber co. on Water Street in Augusta.

I wasn't there to personally see the big day, but I hear it was amazing, and Logan loved every single minute of it. He even put in a special request for a lightning bolt shaved into the side of his fresh cut. Of course, we can't forget just how excited he was to play the old-school pinball machine and arcade games when he was done. If I had to take a guess, I'd guess that Logan will no longer allow his momma to cut his hair, lol.

Check out little Logan's first barbershop adventure below... He sure looks dapper!
