LL Bean Changes Return Policy

LL Bean is making changes to its return policy because a small number of customers are abusing it. LL Bean’s current return policy carried a 100% satisfaction guarantee, the same policy that has been in place for more than 100 years.

Some people are taking advantage of the policy by returning items that are years old and heavily worn or LL Bean merchandise bought at a second hand store. On time.com the new policy will allow customers a year to return items with proof of purchase.

LL Bean said they will work with purchases that are defective purchased more than a year ago. The new return policy may not be the same as the old but it is still better than many other outdoor brands return policy.
