Maine Helmet Law Voted Down In Maine Legislature
With spring here, motorcycles are coming out of hibernation in Maine. The Maine state Senate voted 26-7 against a bill that would have required motorcycle riders to wear helmets while riding on Maine roads. That followed a vote of 123-21 in the state House of Representatives against the bill earlier in the week.
Maine law requires riders 18 and under to wear a helmet, but adults can decide to wear a helmet or not.
Okay, motorcycle riders, we want to hear from you. Helmet or not helmet. Law or no law?
I also want to add what about seat belts? Should those be mandatory for those over 18?
