Handcrafted American Flags made by Maine Stitching Specialists in Skowhegan were flown over the U.S. Capitol recently.

The idea was to showcase the quality and appeal of made in Maine products. The event was arranged by Sen. Susan Collins to support the Maine start-up company.

Bill Swain, Maine Stitching president said the company was proud to have their flags flown over the capitol. Using the highest quality materials, they assemble their flags to hold up and fly beautifully in any condition.

Flags are available online at Maine Stitching’s partner company dognotgone.com
