The man accused of killing at fellow employee at a Waterville beverage store has been arrested in the State of Arkansas.

According to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety's Shannon Moss, 20-year-old Spridal Hubiak of Waterville was arrested in Flippin, Arkansas, early Sunday morning.

According to the press release, members of the Flippin Police Department found Hubiak sleeping in a parking lot.  Mr, Hubiak fled the scene in a 2010 Ford Taurus.  Members of several law enforcement agencies pursued him.

The press release goes on to say, in part:

Area agencies assisted with the chase that ended on Highway 65 in Boone County after Troopers with the Arkansas State Police were able to deploy spike mats. When the vehicle Hubiak was driving became disabled, Hubiak exited the vehicle with a rifle and shots were fired.  Hubiak was injured.

While Spridal Hubiak's condition is not known, he is expected to survive his injuries.

Further details about the shooting incident have not been revealed at this time.  The incident is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police.  The Maine State Police have reportedly been working with the Arkansas State Police on the investigation.

His arrest ends a three-day long manhunt.

Spridal is accused of killing 52-year-old Angela Bragg, one of his Damon's Beverage Waterville co-workers.  Sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, Spridal allegedly killed Bragg and fled the scene.

On Friday, the owners of Damon's Beverage released a statement about the tragedy.
